Terms of Service

porto.tools is a free, on-device file converter with no account. These terms cover using it. Plain language, no surprises.

Free, no account, on your device

porto.tools is free to use, with no sign-up and no usage caps. Every conversion runs inside your browser, so your files stay on your device. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Provided as-is, no warranty

The service and every tool are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that a conversion will succeed, that the output will be perfect or fit for a particular purpose, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Always keep your own copy of an important file before converting it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, porto.tools is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including a file that fails to convert, comes out corrupted, or is lost, and any indirect or consequential loss. You use the tools at your own risk.

Acceptable use

Use porto.tools lawfully. Do not use it to process content you do not have the right to, or for any illegal purpose, and do not try to disrupt, overload, probe the security of, or otherwise abuse the service. We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

The engine is licensed separately

The conversion engine, the MCP server, and the n8n node are open source under a separate dual license (AGPL-3.0 or commercial). See the Licensing page. These terms cover your use of the porto.tools website and service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The current version always lives on this page, and continued use of the service means you accept the latest version.
